Banana Puri

Ingredients:

  • Wheat flour  -1 cup

  • Jaggery grated - 1/2 cup or Sugar - 3 tbsp  

  • Curd  - 1 tbsp

  • Ghee  - 1 tbsp

  • Cumin seeds(crushed) -  1 tsp

  • Baking Soda -  1/4 tsp

  • Ripe Banana - 1

  • Oil for frying

 

Procedure:

  • Mash the banana.

  • Add sugar to it and mix well.

  • To the mashed banana add rest of the ingredients and mix well.

  • Knead to a pliable dough. (Add more flour if the dough is sticky.)

  • Cover and rest the dough for 5-6 hours.

  • Make small balls out of the dough. Roll it into Puri size.

  • Fry in hot oil till both the sides are golden brown.
